Item Description
Each item is about .75" to 7/8". First is brass lapel stud replica of Napoleon's hat reading "McKinley/96/Protection." McKinley's nickname was "Little Nap", see related figural items #48. Next is pin-back following the theme of the mechanical coffin #167. A corpse in the coffin symbolizes the general public with surrounding text from 1896 "Too Much Politics." Reverse has jobber name along with maker name W&H. Couple trivial pinpoint marks. Full gloss. Third is an embossed brass lapel stud showing "McKinley & Hobart." Last is a brass lapel stud showing a flower with inscription "Sound Money." All three brass pieces have essentially Mint brilliant luster. A nice group. Don & Mildred Wright Collection.
