Item Description
13/16" all glazed porcelain lapel stud unlisted in Hake. In fact there are no portrait lapel studs for McKinley by this company shown in the Hake Guides. Front of this piece has his portrait executed like a steel engraving and color tinted. Stud back reads "O'Hara Co/Waltham, Mass." The company was famous for their watch dials but in 1896 produced these scarce lapel studs for both McKinley and Bryan. See next related item.
