Item Description
Each is 1.25" and c.1896-1900. First is one of the great bicycle buttons promoting the brand name "Eclipse Bicycles" with small illustration of a bicycle carrying six men. Caption above "6 To 1" with additional text "They Stand The Test/Made Of The Best/Eclipse Riders Are Happy." Reverse has rarely seen design back paper by W&H. Second with back paper from Western Badge, St. Paul has front designed like a wheel with text "Joerns-Thiem/2-Speed/It's All In The Hub." Last shows early famous bicycle racers McDuffie, Michael, and Lesna. Button was issued to promote a race in Boston at the "Charles River Park" headlined as "Grand International Race." No back paper and with a little minor oxidation on the reverse but the front of this still displays NM and the other two are NM displaying Mint.
