Items range from 1-1/8" tall to 3-1/8" tall. Group begins with pressed wood medal from the 1876 Centennial exposition with high relief image of Washington on the front which includes the dates of his birth and death. Additional raised text on the back about the location and purpose of the exposition along with 1876 date. Second item is from the same event and is a 1-1/16" embossed brass lapel stud showing the "Main Building 1876." Third item also from same event is brass ring and loop enclosing a Mint luster white metal token with one side showing "Independence Hall 1876" and other side showing "Liberty Bell 1776/1876." The ring enclosing the medal has two tiny dents but the medal itself is essentially Mint. Next, in date order, is oval white metal piece with loop, ring and moveable stick pin at the top. A wreath design surrounds oval scene of Indian on horseback with bow and arrow posed above charging buffalo. Rim text "Pan-American Exposition 1901." Reverse has shield shaped emblems one enclosing scene of Niagara Falls and the other a buffalo head each with small designs above reading "Pan/Am" while below is the date 1901. A beautiful and rare piece in NM condition. Next from 1905 is well made brass badge showing Irish symbols and with text "Irish Industrial Exposition New York 1905" and tiny "Erin Go Braugh." Maker name on back of "Dieges & Clust." Next from 1909 is three part item with text on upper bar "Alaska/Yukon Pacific/Exposition." Center segment is designed as a log and reads "Seattle." Bottom segment is designed as a gold miners pan and has raised image with name "William H. Seward" (who acquired Alaska for the USA). Back has maker's mark of a Seattle firm. Tiny bit of gold tone off his portrait. Next is what seems to be a rolled nickel although no details of the coin remain but the front reads "World's Fair St. Louis 1904/Hall's 151 Wabash Ave., Chicago." Opposite side shows a tall monument. One tiny edge nick. Full luster. Last is a brass medal showing woman in chair next to a cradle with surrounding text "An Exposition For The Betterment Of Women And Children." Opposite side reads "This One Dollar Coin Good For Admission At All Times To The New York Women's Welfare Exposition And Mother's Congress New York 1912." Minor luster loss. A very nice group with seldom seen pieces.
