Lot of two items signed by three Golden Age comic artists. 8.25x10.5" softcover "The Comic Book Makers" w/280 pages published by Crestwood/II Publications, ©1990 Joe Simon and Jim Simon. Title page has been signed in blue felt tip pen by Golden and Silver Age comic artist Mort Meskin (1916-1995), who has signed "To Charley [sic] - Best Wishes" and added "5/18/92" date. Title page has also been signed by Captain America co-creator Joe Simon (1913-2011), who adds "To Charlie - My Best  Regards" inscription and "5-29-92" date. Front cover has corner tip wear at bottom right. VF/Exc. Comes w/9x12" artboard w/ink and pencil sketch w/expressive head and shoulders depicting "Hangman" character. Fujitani drew "The Hangman" for MLJ in 1943, and also worked on a number of Golden Age comics before going on to co-create the character Solar. Signed at lower right in black felt tip pen "To Charlie - From Bob Fujitani - '05." Exc. All were obtained in-person. Charlie Roberts Collection.
