Item Description
Lot of four thin artboards, each w/pen and ink original art, typically measuring 6.75x19.75". Art is for Dec. 5, 7, 9-10, 1963 daily strips and all for same story. Two strips features three-panels while other two feature two panels. First strip features Lone Ranger in all panels confronting corrupt judge. Second strip features Lone Ranger in just one panel w/armed trio approaching in second panel. Third strip features Lone Ranger in last panel, trying to escape armed men. Last strip does not feature Lone Ranger in either panel, as armed men declare him a ghost due to his disappearance. Each strip has some blue pencil color accents w/art by longtime "Lone Ranger" artist Charles Flanders, who has signed last panel of each strip. "Lone Ranger" title written in pencil on margin of each strip. Some scattered editorial notations at margins. All have KFS copyright strip paste-overs. Backs of first two strips have some strips of clear tape and strips have some pinholes at corners of panels. Backs of each strip have engraver stamps and first two have art collector stamp. Scattered aging/handling wear. Fine overall.
