Item Description
3.5x5.5" vintage matte real photo postcard depicting 14 team members in full uniform along w/two gentlemen in formal attire posed in front of stadium seating w/a sold out crowd in the background. This Danville ball club was a member of the Virginia League during the 1912 season. Divided postcard back remains unused w/AZO stamp box dating it to 1904-18. The number "10" has been handwritten on back in the upper left-hand corner. Postcard exhibits lt. even handling corner wear. VF. Richard Merkin Collection.
