Item Description
3.5x5.5" vintage matte postcard depicting 11 team members in full uniform along w/two gentlemen dressed in formal attire and one female dressed in her Sunday's best posed inside a studio setting w/baseball equipment prominently displayed in foreground. Team identification at bottom reads "Weiss All-Stars of Cleveland, Ohio". Divided postcard back remains blank and unused. Alta Weiss was known back in the day as "The Girl Wonder". Her ball club was comprised of all semi-pro male ballplayers and one female pitcher. Scattered toning visible along top edge. VF. Richard Merkin Collection.
