Item Description
Exceptional doll, the smaller of two sizes produced. 13" tall to the top of Donald's head, 16" to the top of his hat. The larger size is 16.5" to the top of his head. Knickerbocker, c. 1938. Doll is dressed in felt outfit w/brass buttons, braid accent, leatherette belt w/snap, plush hat w/braid chin strap. Oil cloth eyes and felt tail. Doll is complete w/original wood baton. Missing cardboard string tag. White areas of doll show moderate scattered aging while felt portions of costume are evenly aged. Fine overall. Rare and desirable Disney doll.
