Item Description
Complete and all original 9" tall doll w/movable head. Felt/fabric outfit consists of sombrero w/all pom-pom accent balls intact, vest w/button on back, serape. 1930s. A matching Mickey Mouse doll was also produced (both are pictured on pages 61-62 of Disneyana by Munsey). Doll has glue repair to knee break and shows scattered wear w/two small flakes to top of Donald's sailor cap as well as tiny flakes at one elbow, flake to toe, wear at neck and crazing to body, most notable being at Donald's hip. Donald's tail also exhibits crazing and wear, w/large flake underneath. Doll is VG overall. Outfit has typical aging and is Fine/VF overall. This Mexican-themed version is rarely seen, this being the first example we've been able to offer in 15 years. Thom Carchedi Collection.
