Item Description
23-1/8x33.25" frame contains double-matted display w/large paper sign using image of Little Orphan Annie and Sandy to promote Quaker brand cereals - Quaker Puffed Rice 'Sparkies' and Quaker Puffed Wheat 'Sparkies' - as well as showing the "'Vitamin Rain'" process in which vitamins are added to the cereals, a process that debuted in 1941. Sign has been folded into quarters w/3/8" split at center. Left margin uneven as cut. Displays VF as professionally matted and framed. Among the nicest and rarest of all Little Orphan Annie advertising pieces. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and the only example known.
