Item Description
15-1/8x20" Bainbridge Illustration Board features mixed media original art showing full body image of Torchy in sheer negligee, clinging to fire escape. Art is by Torchy creator Bill Ward (1919-1998), who added "Torchy" name logo w/his signature inked below it. Bottom has hand-inked text that reads "Taken From A Lead Story Title Page That I Created In Torchy #4" before signing his full name. While Torchy #4 was published in 1950, art is undated and was likely done in much later. Exc.
