6.5" long by 5.5" tall tin litho toy depicts Popeye and Olive Oyl on a handcar. Both characters have spring bodies that move as they work the handle of hand car. Rest of Popeye's and Olive Oyl's body consists merely of tin litho heads and arms. c. 1950s. Toy works as it is pulled along, axle action moving figures up and down as if using handcar. Popeye is complete w/wood pipe. Popeye's head has one inner tab broken off and as such head is loose; but can be placed in situ for display. Scattered tiny scattered paint nicks/scratches. Fine overall. Rare.
