Item Description
2-1/8x3-1/8". The 1946-47 Propagandas Montiel series consists of 180 cards depicting athletes, including baseball players and boxers. Card fronts feature bw photos while backs have bios along w/advertising for Cuban stores. An album was issued in conjunction w/this card set, thus accounting for many examples found in lesser condition due to paper loss from album removal.
Max Rosenfeld (1902 – 1969), was a Jewish professional baseball player who played outfield from 1931 to 1933 with the Brooklyn Robins/Dodgers.
