Item Description
3-3/8x5-3/8”. Postcard-style backs differentiate these cards from the more common Exhibit Supply Co. cards from Chicago. This 20 card series was produced by a Philadelphia company. Hornsby played 23 seasons in MLB (1915-37) w/the vast majority of that time spent w/the St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Cubs. He finished his career w/the highest batting average in MLB history by a right-handed batter at .358. Rogers also was a two-time MVP, two-time Triple Crown winner, World Series champion in 1926 and a seven-time batting titlist. Inducted into the National Baseball Hall of fame in 1942.
