Item Description
From the same set as previous four lots. Rube Marquard began his MLB career in 1908 by pitching one game for the New York Giants. From 1911-13, Marquard would exceed 20 wins per season comfortably w/New York before moving on to the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1915 and remaining w/Brooklyn through the 1920 season. Inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1971. Bold signature in blue ink runs vertically across his lower body.  At time of cataloging, PSA/DNA pop report indicates that this signed example is one of only three ever graded by PSA and is the single highest.
