Item Description
At 2x3" is "The Underwood Attitude" with American eagle holding typewriter in talons flying high above snow-capped mountain peaks. Additional bold red and black text advertising on the reverse. Top left corner rivet with pair of blank inside sheets to write on. Made by Bastian. The other 3 tablets are 2.5x4". First has gorgeous young woman in high fashion on the front cover while reverse has 1914 calendar with "Compliments Of National Casket Co. Louisville, KY." This was a notebook with just a couple sheets remaining. Very small 1/8" hairline cello crack on front cover by the lower brass ring but showing very little. Next with young woman has tiny W&H text on front cover and top center rivet which holds 2 interior memo sheets. Reverse has large bw photo and type for Washington hotel, "The Greater Palais Royal." Tiny bit of age tone to front cover but very minor. Last is notebook with "Hotel Dyckman Minneapolis' Newest Hotel." Celluloid covers are clean and interior notebook pages are unused. List of room rates on reverse begin at $1.50 and go up to $5.00. A nice group.
