Item Description
Each is 9.5" tall in silver type with brass metallic fringe. First is for "Amalgamated Meat Cutters & Butcher Workmen Of N.A./American Federation Of Labor." This has brass hanger with cello insert showing clasp hands. Second is for "Amalgamated Sheet Metal Workers International Association." This has brass embossed hanger also with clasp hands. Each has pair of crossed American flags and the first has the flag material in separate fabric sheets with ripples as if flowing in the breeze. Reverses of each are in black with silver text for use at union member's funerals. The first names St. Louis, Mo., while the second names "Cincinnati, O." Both are in exceptional NM condition.
