Item Description
This issue is distinguished by a solid Mac Raboy cover. Fawcett started this title as an over-sized anthology. By issue seven it had moved to the physical format that was becoming the standard size for comic books. The Anthology format stayed on and the book featured many solid heroes over the first few years. When Captain Marvel Jr. showed up, the title found a permanent cover subject. This issue contains the final story featuring the Minute-Man. Other heroes showcased in this issue include Hopalong Cassidy, Bulletman, and Hoodoo Hannigan, among others. Otto Binder has written an interior story. Among the artists who worked on this are Harry Parkhurst and Phil Bard. The pages are off-white to white. This unrestored book is CGC-certified 9.6 (NM+). According to the CGC Census this is the highest –graded copy they have seen. The book is also recognized as part of the Pennsylvania Pedigree.
