Item Description
The Kid had first appeared in Hit Comics # 25. That story was written by Otto binder and drawn by Sheldon Meyer. His origin is a highly imaginative story that starts with the kid dying at sea after his ship is sunk by a Nazi Sub. The Gatekeeper in Heaven sends him back to Earth because his time wasn’t yet up. He was given the power to bring anyone from the past to help him solve a problem. The Kid continued to appear in Hit Comics until its cancellation. This is the first issue of his own title. The book lasted 18 issues. This unrestored book is CGC-certified 9.4 (NM). According to the CGC Census this copy is tied with one other as the highest-graded copy they have seen. It is also recognized as part of the Mile High Pedigree.
