These are much the same as the previous lot although with full color portraits. Most of these have American Pepsin Gum back papers with a few having W&H Co. back papers. Some minor flaws include Bryant with no back paper, Nelson with a couple of tiny 1/16” dots, Nicholas II Czar of Russia has aged back paper, rest are extremely clean and glossy. Group includes all nine jockey buttons similar to group #655. This does not have the color variety on Doggett but it does include Tarel who is missing from lot #655. Other major names include Bonaparte, Poets Burns and Byron, Caesar, Charles Dickens, “Robt. Fitzsimmons, Champion Fighter Of The World”, Grant, Lincoln, Czar of Russia, Shakespeare, Generals Sheridan and Sherman, Queen Victoria, Prince of Wales, Washington. A nice group.
